I would like to offer a recommendation to a site that pays you to post links and write about websites for money. In all honesty, I work for them so I know we actually pay out because I do the payout administration! if you are interested it is called Blogsvertise (I am not allowed to post links yet).

    Thanks for that.
I'll give it a shot and post my opinion and expirience soon for other bloggers.

Well some companies will pay to write a blog entry about them and link to their website. It helps them gain publicity and more links to their site. That is what my company, blogsvertise, does.

    Hi Cheryl,

I find this to be an interesting concept. I've been blogging for about a year and a half, very successfully, but incorporating these entries into any of my existing blogs would be a bad fit... my readers at Thoughts2Page, for example, expect a certain type of content and I don't think that I could necessarily frame the posts (with their required number of links, etc.) in a way that would be pleasing to them (and I've worked too hard at building my readership to tick them off now! LOL).

So, I would basically have to start yet another blog. What is your perspective on how much content has to exist before a blog is "acceptable"? Being put on "probationary status" due to lack of content would be difficult for someone who already writes and blogs on a regular basis, so I guess I'm curious

Look forward to your thoughts... and thanks!

    E.

I've been publishing my blog Mike's Money Making Mission for seven weeks and have made over $200 with a mixture of affiliate programs.

As I'm a new member here I unfortunately can't do any links on this reply but you can find them on my blog - see my 'signature' below for link. Each week I do a Weekly Report showing what I have earned and what I'm doing. (The Weekly Report is every Saturday).

Whatever you do - good luck,

    Mike.

Whats your blog about? You could use affiliates. Its a program that allows you to sell a product on a commission basis. So basically if you are an affiliate of a web design company for example, what happens is that for every online customer they get though a link from your website to theirs, you will receive a commission. How much commission you receive depends on the company but its usually 20%.
