Hello out there

I am new here and struggling to figure it out. Either I am super tired or its this site, extremely hard to get in with the swing of things, Where is this blog store? We have to BUY our way in to just search a Forum? I could not possibly have read that right. Interestingly though, if there are in fact many people using this site, which I venture there are not, but let us suppose there are, how did they convince people or sell them on this site even being a good idea when you can not explore it??? If I could start a site and not allow people into the forums, no signatures, and to ask them for points or money to boot - and they would go along with it. Wow that is an intriguing concept all on its own. I guess I will stay tuned till someone enlightens me on any benefits even just one of being new here????????

I realize I was a bit sarcastic in the above thread though in all seriousness can someone kindly tell me how to use this site, for newbies like me and a roadmap of some kind???
