    Making your blog carbon positive

    Hi guys,

I work for a company called ixpo, who manufacture carbon neutral products.

We have just started an initiative to try and make more blogs carbon neutral, or even carbon positive!

Basically, every blog that attracts less than 15,000 hits produces on average 3.5kg of carbon per year (taking into account power consumed by computer usage, electricity hours and server cooler systems).

The UNFCC have calculated that on average a tree absorbs 10kg of carbon per year from the atmosphere, so what we plan to do is plant 1 tree for each blog that adds our campaign button to their site.

So if you have a blog, please add one of the buttons and we will plant your tree - simple as that!

Please have a look at the initiative, and get your button, please visit www,ixpo,com/plant-a-tree

    Thanks!

    Dan
