Thread: Getting Traffic

What you need to do is build backlinks. A backlink is a link from someone else's site to yours. The best backlinks are anchored on a keyword. Backlinks are what Google uses to decide whether to rank you in their index.

Start by putting links to your site in your signature in this forum, and then each time you post, you should get a backlink.

i think patience is key here. I myself have not been getting a ton of traffic but there are times where i get sudden spikes coming from sources I don't even know of. I think its best to keep active in social networking.

Getting listed in directories will take some time for approval. Create an RSS feed and submit to RSS directories.
