Currently I am using a self hosted wordpress blog.
Why do I use wordpress - because its light on the server and has tons of plugins.
Why do I host my own blogs - because I want control over my own sites.

blogger.com is the best choice

It depends, I feel both (and several others) have some quality so that they can stand in the maketplace. If you are used of one, you will feel an attachment and that's why you prefer one over other. Its very natural.
I like blogger (actually, I never tried wordpress.)

I use WordPress.org, I haven't had any problems yet...It has more plugins than I could ever mention, and the themes are very flexible. Speaking of WP themes I am looking for a good WP theme editor for Linux, any advice?
