    Post Blogging Software?

What blogging software are you currently using? Why do you use it? I'm a big Google fan, so I've created my personal blog with Blogger. I think the flexibility is great.

Currently I am using a self hosted wordpress blog.

Why do I use wordpress - because its light on the server and has tons of plugins.

Why do I host my own blogs - because I want control over my own sites.

It depends, I feel both (and several others) have some quality so that they can stand in the maketplace. If you are used of one, you will feel an attachment and that's why you prefer one over other. Its very natural.

I like blogger (actually, I never tried wordpress.)

What we get used to is what we prefer to stick with. I have used blogger and wordpress, but then found I couldn't control it as much as I wanted. In the end I went with self hosted wordpress sites. And now that I am used to it - I find the other platforms tedious - only cause I don't know them!
