believe me, i know someone who can get 1000 traffic / day or even more depend on his blog.

But for me, blog is can't get a lot of traffic.

if you really want to have a lot of traffic, build a discussion board or bulletin board

I am getting anywhere from 20 - 75 individual visits...amounts to 40 - 110 page views. Would like to be at 500-700

Well at the moment I'm averaging around 150, but as the site is just 4 months old thats pretty good I reckon.
Last April 2009 I managed 2,700 in one day on another site of mine, but that was down to people panicking over the conflicker virus & I just happened to have removal tools on that blog site hahaha. It was very nice though as I earned $75 that day with Google !
