how to build a blogger community

Hi all,

I am new to the blogging community. Can you tell me what sites have helped you build a community?
I see a lot of widgets installed in bloggers' sites but can't really tell which ones are the most effective, and will create a community for me?

In my oppinion, is the good content that could help you build a community around your blog. If you post fresh content often the people will keep coming back to your blog and will even tell others about it. Widgets are interesting when helping other expraim them thoughts about your blog.
