    A. exchange links
    b.forum posting
    c.blog commenting
    d. if any alternatives please specify

    I think it's a combination of all. Because you can't just focus on one link strategy. But if there's any, I'd go with blog commenting.

    Traffic = good content (unique information) + good promotion.
    good promotion includes , but is not limited to :
    a. exchange links
    b. forum posting
    c. blog commenting
    d. article submission
    e. social networking

    +
    f. directories submission
    g. letting friends know about your site.
