How to increase earning with blog?

Here is what I did. Right now I hav 30 blogs. 28 of which I will never touch again. I started a blog and worked on it. Then didn't get anywhere with it so I quit (did not delete the blog). So now I have found a blog that I dont have trouble getting traffic to. I am now making about 1.50 a day some of which comes from blogs I no longer use. So if you aren't doing so well with one blog why not make a few more.
