Hey, I'm new to all this, forum and blogging. I had to retire earlier this year cause of medical issues. I recently started looking into blogging, affiliate marketing, and other things. I think I'm going to give it a shot, but still have to do more research on it all.

I see lots of people pushing their own products/programs around the net, but I'm always weary of investing in them. I have lots of time to research and look into things. I know I won't find all the answers and will screw up a long the way as I learn. I haven't ruled out investing in a program, but would like to do things on my own if I can.

I was wondering what people think is the best for hosting? I see lots about Host Gator and I have come across theblogpress. Any opinions on those places or other good options I should look into? Also, is it best to setup an llc to do all this through?
