Yes Mathew, even I am in the impression that 99 sites out of 100 sites promising you are spams. The best site to earn money is Google. Blog and monetize it with adsense and you earn from it. The other site is bloghub which pays you promptly but to earn $10 you will have to break you back, so I feel its not worth doing that. Other than that I have not come across any sites which pays you easily.

u can use adsense on your blog... or another one that works really well and can go in to alot of blog platforms is chitika ads

I dont know what you are good at.
If make money from digital images, you need the skill to use digital cam and take bright images to update to various stock photos websites. Average download is USD20 cents per download. The pictures must have certain commercial value, no personal picture.
If make money from discussion, join mylot. It's similar to here, just that they pay you to participate. most people can make US$10 per month.
Writing articles are better, my income from Helium since I joined in Feb exceed USD 800. Plus with passive component, the articles are still making money even though I stop writing for them.
if you tell me what you are good at, I can give more suggestions. My niche is writing, but I mingle around and learn a lot.
