    Is your blog focused on spiritual struggles? I guess that is a relatively lesser written on subject which can be interesting.
    About the design of your blog. You may want to make the text colour coordinate with the background colour.

    I need the money to support my own site and domain but--
    my blog is tied to my book and is hosted by the people who aid me in my publishing...
