changing front page blogger information

I'm not logged in to Blogger at the moment but, as a quick reply, the information you're talking about is pulled into your template from your Blogger profile. Log in, go to "edit your profile" and uncheck the things you don't want displayed; clean out the optional information such as your location. You aren't obligated to fill out all those fields.
