The Food Buster, Busting the Hype on Food!

    Hey Guys,

I created a food blog a few months blog and am looking for some constructive criticism. It's dedicated to reviewing the most popular restaurants, bakeries, ice cream, chocolate, and wines from all around the world, but mostly focusing on America.

I'm especially looking for ways that design can generate more traffic, and I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks a lot for any help you can offer!

It's got a nice sleek template. It's easy to navigate and written well.

My only advice would be to add a small picture in the posts so the reader can visualize what you're describing.

Visuals are very important when it comes to food, so I would imagine it is even more important in a blog - considering you're only relying on text through your monitor.

It might just brighten things up a bit.

    Good luck!

I love it! Love it! Seems you and I have a similar taste. You know what would be AWESOME though? What if you had a place where people could recommend places that they visit for you to critique? I mean I don't live in LA or anything, so maybe also a way to distinguish by city? that way when I'm travelling to Boston I can click a link and go to all the Boston dishes you love (or not)

That's an awesome idea! I need to add a page for requests.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to go to most of the cities in the US, though, to just taste the food. That's why I'm actually trying to convert it into kind of a foodie network, where people can even contribute reviews/become writers. Hopefully, one day it can be a hub for detailed reviews for every big city in the US.

Oh, and by the way, I'm studying law in Boston next year, and I had the chance to visit the city. In my time there, I hit up quite a few spots, so stay tuned, because later on in the year I'll be putting up reviews of all my favorite joints in Boston.

Thanks again for all the help!

Just an update: I did just add a "Request a Food Bust" page. Send me a message if you want, and I'll see what I can do!
