Is blog expired?

Hi Everybody!

I am Kavyadharshini. Newbie here. Would you please anybody clarify my doubt?

I have created a blog using blogger. Somebody told me that even if we created blog using free service, it will get expire after some days. I get totally disappointed. Anybody clarify this please? If the blog expires, how can i renew it again?

Please tell me in details.

I haven't heard of any Blogger accounts expiring before. I'm not entirely sure though, so maybe someone else can clarify.

I've had a blogger account for months and sometimes went over a month without posting. I still have an account with blogger. You don't have to worry about it expiring.

Hi, I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere here :rolleyes:

I think what your friend should have told you is that the free blog services do not guarantee the safety of your blog & therefore if the service you were using was to be hacked, you could well lose your blog & you cannot hold the free service resposible for any loss!

This is one of the main reasons why any serious blogger usually opts for self / paid hosting, as you have far more control over the hard work you have put into your blog.

As far as I know blogger account have no expiration date. Sometimes we just link to images on other sites which goes down or expires permanently.
