Confused Over 'The Reaping'

Hi everyone,
I just went to see The Reaping today and I really enjoyed it. Interesting concept and I wouldn't exactly call it scary. It was more..suspenseful? (Does the word 'suspenseful' exist?). One part had me screaming and I never scream at movies.
Towards the end, I got kinda lost though. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention. I know I can't go into details here but if someone else has seen it and gets it, would they be kind enough to explain it to me? Via PM maybe? Or if you give me your email, I'll email you and ask.
But don't let this scare the rest of you off. Go see it. It's a fun movie watch for the weekend (or weekday even).
