Interesting blog topic, but you really should consider the advice above. Separate domain (around $10 a year) and a cool WP theme (you can find loads for free) will make your site more appealing, thus, visitors are likely to spend more time on your blog. Once you get solid traffic, add some commercials (adsense n stuff) - not only will you make some money, but the site will also become more trustworthy (gives visitors signals that blog creator spends time to post the coolest stuff and logically wants something in return).
