Do you submit your websites to search engines?

I have actually submitted my blog to the search engines.

So, I am fairly curious, do you submit your blogs, and if you do, do you use a service or do you do it manually?

Once you are on Google, Yahoo and MSN you can forget about search engine submission. All the smaller search engines pick their information up off the big boys. Never use a service to put you on search engines. We all use Google anyway.

Yes, i have submitted my blogs to different search engines. Actually search engines are a great way to drive traffic and by submitting the blogs to them increases visitors.

Google, yahoo, msn, bing are some major must-submit SEs. i have submitted my blogs manually there. i have submitted to some smaller search engines also using different free submission tools. you can easily find them by searching in google.

Yes. Try submit once every 2months. To let the search engine bot reclaw your blog. Make sure by that time you have lot of new content.

Sure,when I have got a new site,the first thing I do is to sumbit it to search engines.

i do it manually I have submitted to blogcatalog, blogged, bloggerhub, blogarea, you get the point. Search blog promotion, blog forums, blog submission

And directories too.

It really depends which blog I'm doing and how much publicity it has got already.

I just submitted my blog to blog directories and rss directories. What blog forums or other promotions would you recommend? I haven't seen much progress as far as traffic to my website
