Hi! well, I am using blogger.com becuase I tried it first and I liked it. I know HTML and CCS so I was able to modify it the way I want it. I also added features I wanted like a search, forum, trackbacks, etc :)
I think it's great and blogger support is very responsive and helpful when problems arrise! :)
I use wordpress, also. I've tried other services, but I like wordpress.

Wordpress. Never go wrong with that if you got your own domain name and server. I would too...since I help alpha/beta test it. :)
I've got several. Hosting sites are what you are looking for, right?
I have one on squarespace dot com, live journal dot com; geocities (yahoo) is okay, not the best, but will do. I also have typepade dot com, and blogspot dot com.

I use blogdrive. Cause I think blogdrive is the only blog site for me that actually gets me typing. All the other stuff gets me only 2 posts. xP lol:)

I use my own .com, I am interested in some of these sites people are using who also have their own servers and domains. I am gonna look into them, thanks for the tips!
I am with blogger. Could be better but happy with it for the moment :)
I'm using wordpress coz I find it much organized..
I use my own hosting service. I started my own free blog service:) but I used to use blogspot.com.
(blogdangit.com if anyone cares)
I use busythumbs.com, it´s better .
I've used both Blogger and Wordpress which are great platforms. Currently I'm using B2Evolution for no other reason than I've not used it before. I really like it though mainly because it is just like blogger in that if I want to create a seperate blog I can with just a few clicks of a button. The only draw back is that you do have to have some experience with html and such to get the most out of it and they don't have nearly as many cool plugins as WordPress.
I’m using Wordspress as my blogging platform, hosted on my own domain.
