Does Promoting AdBlock Turn Advertisers Off?

I have written a post on my blog about how to import a huge amount of AdBlock pre-made filters into Konqueror at once, you can read the post here:

Several people found it ironic that I am promoting AdBlock on my blog since it is supported by ads, and some even said that it will turn off advertisers from advertising on my blog in the future. However I disagree with them, and I posted my thoughts on the topic here:

I think that since my blog runs CPM and CPC ads, advertisers don't loose any money if the visitor blocks their ads. In fact, this should make them happier, because the visitors that know how to block ads tend to be ad blind, so they won't click the ads anyways.

What do others think on this topic? I would like to discuss it from the advertiser's point of view, not the publisher's.
