Same as Salik-cell said.

However, if you do that - it's still not guaranteed. For a better chance of it being indexed, get some backlinks. The higher the rank on google the site that links back to you, the mroe of a chance of your site being indexed.

Basically - just advertise and try to hurl in traffic.

Yeah, you can also list yourself in blog directories, and eventually you will be spidered.

This is what I did to market my blogsite. I joined Facebook. Then added friends. Then added friends of friends. Then added friends of friends of friends. And kept on repeating the process until I had a sizeable pool of friends. Then I shared my blogsite. In less than 10 days, my blogsite received more than 300 unique visitors. Google "areesportals" to see the results.
