in my opinion, a relationship should be about give and take. 50 / 50 if you can get it. I dated a girl for 5 years and realized that its hard for people to change, so if he hasnt done housework before then it will be pretty hard to get him to do it later. As far as the staring..I dont know your relationship, but I always thought that to be a little disrepectful.
